Coincidentally there was a power outage this morning when I woke up. I had to get up and go to work, no lovely respite like this for me.

So I like living vicariously in your world. Much more satisfying and I am so happy that they continue to settle into being with each other and being married.

I loved it. Its just the right amount of fluff and the whole thunderstorm angle goes along very well.

I think you have written the descriptions of the buildings in the thunder exceptionally well and also the little incidents from Stella's childhood have been incorporated nicely.

I'm usually someone who likes dialogues much more than descriptions, but this story definitely changed my view!

Hello :) I know I've said thank you already and I don't want to gush, but I hope you don't mind me saying it again. Thank you very much! It was such a lovely surprise to see first of all a new story from you and then secondly to see that you had written it for me, following the oneshot. It's very kind of you :)

I really enjoyed reading it; beautifully told as always and with several parts that really struck me and I had to re-read.

Poor Stella, I felt so sorry for her; very like her though to both want to keep going and at the same time sort of make it defiance that she is going to work whether she is sick or not. I liked that she curses Mac and his being right :)

Actually, it was just the right evening to be reading this as I could empathise with the feeling cold!

I smiled at the bits you mentioned about how Mac had come to find her in the rain previously, and that she enjoys going to their shared apartment, how that has made it a home that someone is there waiting for her. I also liked the mention about mopping his fevered brow, except she hasn't been able to :P

I loved that she tells him she can sense him and his appearance. The description of the apartment buildings in the thunder and lightning and how it changes them was wonderful, that was a pleasure to read.

Perfectly done too how Stella describes to Mac about her facing and kind of destroying her fear of thunder; I like that she tells this to him and what that shows about her and how you have understood her character.

It was such a lovely, warming and peaceful image to finish on, the warmth physically and emotionally and all the love and care there is between them. Al the descriptions of the light of the fire were beautiful too and I will be re-reading this many more times!

Love this story it is so cute sweet and lovely, full of great smackednes. A job well done on this one as always, the make the perfect couple so loving and effectionate.
