I never ever would consider feeling sorry for Near. BUT this story made me feel so for the little sheep.

I quite liked how you tackled the of Near killing himself. Some people reckon he's too level-headed to do it, but I think once he realised that he's pretty much now achieved all that he was meant to and lost everyone, he'd consider it. However, I'm glad it wasn't over-the-top angsty, which is good. You avoided awkward, melodramatic OOCness. It was kind of lyrical too, which I really liked. It flowed well. Sometimes fanfiction reads a little choppy, but yours was quite fluid.

I got a bit sad quite early on when he got 'stuck'. I've often wondered if Near is supposed to have Asperger's or something similar or slightly more severe.
