Matilda is one of the most amazing books of all time.

I really like this one in ways I can't quite explain...

great atmosphere. I love how it shows time has passed. Lessons from history forgot in just one generation? hm.

lovely piece.
Omnicat 2/19/08 . chapter 1
Hm. Very astute.

Brillant! Tastefully done and nice perspective. Innocence or ignorance? Loved it!

That was absolutely amazing. I've always had an obsession with game stories: Where the games are more frightning, or just more real, than they should be, although if it's not scary or dangerous, it's not as much fun. I've never read Playing Beatie Bow. I have to order it from the library now. :3

Absolutely awesome. I love how it's understated and stays on a child's simplistic level.
Avlin 1/26/05 . chapter 1
excellent, as usual.
Una-Blythe 8/21/02 . chapter 1
Freaky. Very much so. Especially since I actually read Playing Beatie Bow several years ago. I find myself wondering who the narrator is, however...
Blackletter 6/4/02 . chapter 1
Creepy. *shudder* I like!
freakylilperson 5/24/02 . chapter 1
Did those kids know what they were playing about, though? I don't think they would play it if they did.
Dichotomy 4/30/02 . chapter 1
I liked this, it was creepy and I liked your author notes, those put the story in perspective. In addition, I award you loads of galleons for writing a readable HP fic. :)
Tess3 3/27/02 . chapter 1
Wow. Very, very cool story. Very well-written, and you did such a good job... yes, I'm all grown up, and yes, it's just a story, and yes, it's just a story about a kid's game... but it did give me goosebumps.
Clayin 2/26/02 . chapter 1
woo, nice story. it seems like little kids always come up with games or nursery rhymes about the most morbid things (Lizzie Borgond, Ring-Around-The-Rosie)
UnrepentantReader 2/26/02 . chapter 1
I liked it (: A little creepy, a twisty ending (:
