I really loved this introspective on Elyon, her struggle to uphold her morals while balancing it with the safety of her realm and friends and her thoughts on Phobos.

It's nothing but criminal that you have so few reviews.

Another interesting perspective on the WITCH universe-something that always struck me in the TV series is that Elyon seemed way too happy-go-lucky after Phobos was defeated-there's the bit where she says, "You were never my brother"...but then she just switched to 'party time' mode. So you're covering an aspect of the plot much better than the show did, which you should be proud of. As with your other WITCH fic, both of them are in character, while being allowed to develop and reveal new aspects of themselves, particularly with Elyon's newfound paranoia. As the previous reviewer said, her idea to hang the painting was a nice touch, and (without meaning to sound too creepy) you cover any incestuous elements very appropriately-it's all about control over the other, rather than being all fluffily eroticised, yet it's still very much there. I should add that normally the length of this chapter would deter me, but your writing had me completely absorbed. Well done, and keep writing!

Cool writing style - I just adore how messy things like these keep getting into Elyon's head. Although I have to note the length; it might scare a few readers off. XD. I love how there had to be some psychopathic issues PLUS that idea of doing a portrait.

I suck at pointing out the good stuff. But overall, this is awesome stuff. :D

This was extremely well-written and I loved how the continued meetings leads Elyon to considering dark choices in order to protect her people; the ending was extremely fitting for both.
