Poignant. I liked the butterfly imagery. I also liked the way Ben is addressed at the start of each of the first 3 stanzas, by name, as 'brother,' and by designation. It added to the resonance of the piece, and also described the different roles Ben would have had to play in his life (who knows, maybe that also added to the load that pushed him over the edge?). Thanks for writing it.

I love Ben. He's a sensitive issue for me. I miss him. This made me cry but it's so good, and you really seem to have the exact same thoughts about Ben as me- "They were all butterfly shadows on the wall." "But you had your own nomlie - It grew inside you." "You’re in the good place Where no-one ever gets punished..."

Amazing, amazing lines and they reflect exactly how I see 'crazy, beautiful Ben.' You hit the nail right on the head, so to speak, and created a very powerful, very moving poem in the process. Thanks for helping keep Ben's memory alive, because the show certainly hasn't.
