Hey RINNY IS ALIIIVE! woo hoo! Damn you really had me going when she was still in manikin form. However, by the way you describe her now, is Rinoa still a sorceress or is she more like a GF with reference to the Diablos enc-none ability?

I kind of wish Rinoa would still be a sorceress though. I mean it should be possible with her telepathic link still intact as well as her threat to hang Squall from the ceiling.

Lexie is so my favorite OC now. Acting like a teenager at bleeding age 5 is soooo epic! Can't believe Squall would make such a childish face. Goes to show the power of love from Rinoa really managed to bring out his true self and allow him to live life fully. In a weird way, Rinoa dying helped everybody grow closer and stronger... Still wished it never happened though. I mean you kept Rinoa "dead" for so long I was feeling emo for like 10 hours (the time it took for me to finish the rest of the story due to work).

I really like how mature your characters are and how strong their bonds are. They really came together to work through thick and thin and for that I commend you for that. It was refreshing to see SMART characters who bothered to consider various perspectives and each other's feelings. It saves a lot of grief. A completely epic tale an I hope one day you will complete your sequel but this... This I can live with. Time for some much needed... MORE READING!

I love this fic so far and great revisions on this. It's really believable and so well developed that I find myself reading this like a diary from some omni-present being that writes their destinies.

I am really dreading the bitter parts as what's been put forth so far has been really sweet and awesome. I really like Squall's transition to commander and how he's focused on family and cleverly got a deputy. It really has painted Squall well as a mature and capable leader who can juggle life, love, family and career. Rinoa is awesome too. I mean she's so strong here I just hope that... Oh no... You can't! Oh crud I think I know what you're going to do!

Before I freak out, Seifer has really grown up and I'm glad that his love for Quistis was developed so well and made really juicy. Ok freak out now!

Rin and Quistis' talk reminds me a lot of a talk I had with one of my closest friends this past weekend. Only there isn't any boy. I was just jealous of how damn gorgeous and lovable she is. Its funny that I should stumble upon this fic now. Especially considering that Rinoa reacted almost exactly the way Silvie did.

When I first saw that Quistis had rinoas soul in her, I was expecting some stupid love triangle to come about, but i the end you pull it off and made a story i couldnt predict and highly enjoyed reading.

Another great chapter! Though I think Quistis wouldn't be so bitter about Rinoa; they're good friends-well, I'm off to read more!

Wow! I finally found a great FFVI fanfic! I've only found about two other authors who made me want to read more and more! And i can tell this is just the beginning! I think I'm going to favorite this at the first chapter (which is something I NEVER do)

though hopefully your 'adult material' isn't underrated as T instead of M...

I have to say, you definitely surprised me with the ending! I really liked the way you handled the execution of it, from the possibility that there may NOT be the "true love and happily ever after" to the "what-ifs" if the plan did work. And your characterization markedly improved in the last half! The ending was also sweet without being cliche; I liked the idea of Squall and Rinoa adopting from the orphanage.

Okay, I have to start with the fact that I think you've got a good idea; you just need to flesh out how you execute things. There's a startling lack of development in Seifer and Quistis's relationship. I like Alexa; she's rapidly becoming a favorite among OC characters. You've handled Squall's emotional breakdown fairly well. There are some dialog bits that just don't sound IC at all; you might want to look over those, but otherwise you adhere to good grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and can tell a pretty cohesive story.

Right now, though, I absolutely have to nitpick. When Quistis leaves B. Garden to visit Matron at the orphanage, that is not a short walk. If you recall the game, you had to fly B. Garden TO Centra, seeing as it is a completely separate continent in the FFVI world. You might want to correct that part.

I love the idea of Quistis becoming a Sorceress-it's always been a fun angle to delve into, to see how someone who is not prepared at ALL to handle that sort of thing suddenly have Sorceress powers thrust upon them. You're doing well so far. I also really like your Edea voice-it sounds like her a lot. I'm definitely interested in seeing where this all ends up. I'll drop another review when I've reached the end.
