Wow, I absolutely loved this! Perhaps I just haven't read enough of these "life after Luffy" stories, but I loved that this fic focuses not on the grieving, but rather the way everyone carried on without shame or regret and continued to help those around them with that trademark Mugiwara kindness. And Zoro missing for twenty six years because he was LOST was just so Zoro and so comically anticlimactic.

I love the conclusion, the feeling that something very very meaningful and beautiful did come to existance thanks to the 2nd Pirate King. I would say the story was exactly like his end could be - it caused tears to spring into my eyes, and yet it was lovely, happy and full of life. great story, I repeat :')

LOVED IT. I like how happy it was unlike the other One Piece death fics. After all, happy suits Luffy more than dark no matter what. And I especially loved the last line. It's true and I guess it's the Luffy effect. You can never hate him; become his enemy, yes. But hate him, no. Even the marines who start to get to know him respect him. He's just that awesome and that's all that matters. Truly a life-changer.

Very nice job on this. I really enjoy fics like this that look at all of the crew members even if it's just in snippets. It'd be happier if Luffy was alive, but you did a nice job on laying out a future in which they went their separate ways, and the futures for each of them (especially Zoro, lol) were definitely believable. its such a wonderful story! i've read some fanfic about after luffy past away, but it was all sad... this is realy an unique fanfiction, a cheery one to b exact, it actually lighten my spirit n didn't upset me bu the fact tht luffy isn't there anymore. its fair tht the straw hats r actually living their lives, the way they wanted... living their captains dreams ;D

This could actually happen. luffy isn't the type to gather people who live only for him. Once he goes, they'll be sad, but will keep on living.

As another said, this could very likely be how it ends. My only sticking point might be Robin's ending. You'd figure she'd start a school or something, though she might appreciate a relaxing retirement.

Zoro's and Usopp's made me lol, though.
