Guptanation 4/12/11 . chapter 1
pretty good job, short and sweet, and it flows logically from the realization of Ulquiorra's feelings to the realization of Ishida's feelings.

your depiction of uryuu is really spot on.

This is nice. I love your Ishida - he's perfectly characterized. And typical Orihime, worrying about her uselessness. I like that you still incorporated humor in an otherwise melancholy backdrop. It made for a perfect combination.

Poor Ulquiorra. Even though I never particularly liked him - I seriously don't get what all the fangirl squealing over him is about - I felt bad for him and his unrealized feelings for Orihime.

Thanks for writing!

It is wonderful how you inserted humour into this healing scene! It made me laugh - I can imagine that Ishida would say something like this, cheering Orihime up in spite of his pain. It is very touching and sweet - and I like the two revelations Orihime had. :).

Oh god, your Ishida is perfect 3 I love this exchange:

"At first she is confused, then she catches the faint smile he's managing through the pain.

"It is a little uncomfortable," she admits, grateful for the moment to smile back. "And scratchy."

He nods. "Talentless fools."

Seriously, spot on. This is exactly how I imagine them interacting. It's so sweet and wonderfully in character. Also, the bit about Ulquiorra's smile ("that tiny crook in his mouth") broke my heart.
