I've been sitting here bawling since chapter 6, to the point that I've run out of tissues... I'd actually started tearing up long before then, particularly in Percy's chapter, but Trelawney's chapter calmed me down some (aka wasn't as gut wrenching so I stopped needing to cry as much) as I was confused/annoyed by her misinterpretations of events.

Poor Peeves! I've never felt so sorry for the poltergeist as I did when I read his chapter. The fact he saw it happening, tried to stop Harry, tried to get help and no one believed him until too late... Filch too, for that matter. How hard he seemed to be trying to justify to himself the fact he had not followed Peeves earlier...

I'd never really thought about how badly this would mess up Draco... I like how you showed how badly he was taking it. I really do like the one character's point of view to illustrate how badly others are doing thing.

Well written. Great read. Darn it, I'm still crying...

What about Sirius's POV?

This is... really good. I was crying nonstop. I think my favorite chapters are the Percy and Sirius ones - the way you showed Ron, Remus and Sirius hurting was unbelievable. I know this is on permanent hiatus, but I hope you do finish it someday. Your story made me feel not so alone.

This fic is creepy and sad but really good. It has more emotional impact than most of the fics I've read lately. I love the premise. Please continue.

Ok. So as I said before, this is unbelievably amazing. Just, wow. I really hope you update this again, because it sounds like you have more characters in mind, and your writing, your ideas and your characters are all so amazing I desperately want to read more.

Wow. I am truly loving this story, but I just had to interrupt my reading to comment on this chapter. You said you thought Neville was fighting with you, but I think this is easily the best chapter. Truly moving, realistic and yet another great insight into a sidelined character. Well done.

This made me cry. Nothing much makes me cry these days.

This story- hits me every time. I first read it a few years ago, and I thought 'wow, this is an amazing story' and I've kept re-visiting it ever since. The writing is simply exquisite. It really captures the personality and emotion of each character. This is a classic example of 'show, don't tell'. I've loved the whole story so far, and it would be interesting to see where you (or someone else) would take it. You've managed to not only stay true to a main idea, but you've thrown in a few suprises as well (who is Harry's beloved?). I would offer to continue it, but I just don't think I could do it justice.

If you ever decide to finish writing this, you'll have the support of plenty of eager fans.

I found your fic through a rec on Fiction Alley. I'm sorry to hear that this story is on permanent hiatus. I think it's quite well-written and Sprout's chapter especially made me tear. As this is on permanent hiatus, I don't suppose you could PM me and tell me why Harry felt he had to take his own life in this fic? Was it guilt over Cedric? A combination of many other things?
