wow! i really liked the story line and how you executed it. Alede was a very interesting character cuz at first she put me off in the beginning but she tends to grow on you. no?

I thought that was a pretty good story with an original plot, and I think you should make a sequel and still include Alede!

Good job so far! I like your writing style and introduction to characters. The shadow horse was a brilliant idea. Although I don't see any mention of her dress or arms in the chapter, does she wield a staff or sword?

Bless you FOREVER for this fic. I'm so sick of 'heroine and hero save eachother and then fall in love' scenarios, it's so overdone. By that I mean, fall in love right away. There should be some actual STUFF in between saving and falling. It's fine if they fall LATER. So thank you for that!

Ai Elbereth! That was amazing! I know it sounds kind of corny, but I was totally there! For the odd hour or so it took me to read this, I was totally there! I was in the tower, I had been tortured beyond belief, I could use magic, I was wise beyond my years... jeeze!

Green magic kicks butt. I need to get me some of that. Alede is an amazing character! She fits herself so perfectly, if you know what I mean. You did an amazing job of combining LotR history and your own charactors!

One final word of praise; Legolas is Legolas. He is the Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood and we all know from the books, not the twisted, romantic, shoot-first-ask-questions-later Legolas of fanfiction, he's Thranduilion! Dang it, I just don't know how to say it! But congradulations! You did an amazing job!
