Beautiful! I loved it, your writing style is amazing. Seishirou is one of my favorite characters, and you make him out to be a bit harsh, but all in all, I adored it! Very good! Maybe continue it someday? I hope so! :3

Wait...woah woah woah wait wait! You can't end it there! What about poor Fai? Where's Kuro-rin's daring rescue? You cant just leave Fai to die all alone there! After EVERYTHING hes been through? You're gonna leave him alone with SEISHIRO?

This one definitely reminds me of Seishirou in Wizards of Ceres. It could almost be inserted in WoC as a scene before Sei turned Fai into a demon...The setting also felt very familiar. In my head, I was picturing the Master of Demon's lair. Although, that could be because there weren't enough information on Fai's surroundings. We know he's on a table, but not that much else.

I liked how you delt with Fai's thoughts. There was a progression throughout the story.

"Where was home, any more? Not Valeria, for countless years frozen and lost in the snow. Not Ceres, dead and gone and collapsed now in a skelter of magic gone insane. He would have been lost in Valeria, if not for Ashura; he would have been dead in Ceres, if not for Kurogane. His home must be with Kurogane now, with Syaoran and Sakura and Mokona, to go wherever they went. "

That part really showed how much Fai evolved.

Also, the sentence "And why had no one come for him yet" (or any other variant) being repeated was a good way to show how desperate Fai was to get the hell out of there :)

"and his thumb traced underneath Fai's one remaining eye, as if to underline the depth of his flaws. Terror welled up suffocatingly in Fai's chest and throat - no, no, please not that, he was only just regaining his sight after the last time -"

I was holding my breath right then. I was expecting Seishirou to rip Fai's eye out in a really gory way or something...*shudders*

Oh, you know, in your summary, you put that there were spoilers up until Nihon arc. But it was after you said that the gang met Seishirou in Nihon, and implied that Fai had become a vampire.

Ah...you de-annoned! You know, I when I first read this over there, I had an inkling it was you...it seems to fit very well with your characterization of Seishiro from The Wizards of Ceres.

It's still very disturbing. :-D

However, I really do marvel at your ability to write even such disturbing scenes so beautifully - I DID read to the end, after all, where usually I just kind of gag and go about my business...lol! I also think you do a great job of portraying Seishiro as a sociopath instead of just an a$$hole - everything is very cold and calculated, he's not so much *evil* as he is ammoral.

I do wish Fai would have fought a bit more - he was pretty set and determined to find Sakura and face FWR, but I suppose after that long...*shudder*
