Iroh wouldn't be horrified! He's got Ming, afterall (in my version of things anyway), and he's a lot older than Piandao, so the age difference there is probably bigger. Piandao deserves a family, children; Ty Lee isn't one I would have *ever* thought of pairing him with, but why not? And for an "older" guy, he's damn sexy.

This crack pairing is made of win... so very much. I loved the line "Bumi would probably laugh" after the long list of people who would disapprove. Well writen and surprisingly sensual (considering who we're talking about here).

Not a pairing I've ever thought of myself, but yet I could see it happening. Interesting take on the prompt by the way! It seems to have stumped a lot of folks this time around, lol.

Honestly, I don't think Iroh would be horrified to be honest. Piandao seems a little younger then him, and well, Iroh is a bit of a player...so I'd say Iroh has no stones to throw around.

Y'know...it works for me. I have a hard time thinking of someone I can imagine with Ty Lee (unless it's Mai-I do love me some MaiLee), but somehow Piandao works. Sure, he's a good 30-40 years older than she is (maybe a bit less? I sort of mentally put him between 45 and 55 during the show), but if I put her at about 17 or 18 in this story...four or so years after the war ends...

Yeah. It works. And it would be awesome. He'd be patiently long-suffering on the surface, and loving every minute of it, and she'd be flirtatious and sweet and rock-solid underneath. They'd be good for each other.
