I like to consider myself the biggest Generation X fan of all time. I own everything ever made for them from comis to figures, (even the toyfare exclusive Synch figure)! I say this so I hope it will make my compliment even that more enjoyable.
I LOVE THIS STORY!
I love everything about it, but naturally a couple of suggestions:
1. Jono and Paige remind me a little too much of Rogue and Gambit. Jono even seems to talk like he's Cajun. (Could be just me though)
2. Jubilee being 13? I could have missed that, but I could have sworn by the time she went to the Mass. Academy she was at least 15. (I apologize if I'm wrong or if this was something you did on purpose and I ruined it by pointing it out.)
Now for the things I really liked:
1. Loved Emma saying "peachy".
2. I never really liked the Mondo character all that much, but you have made me like him.
3. Love the Perkolater and Manchild characters. Is this manchild character actually a character from teh Age of Apocalypse cross over or did you create him yourself? Same question about Perkolator...
Anyway, almost every story I write has to do with Generation X, so if you like them, stop on by and take a look. They are nowhere near the quality of yours, but you may enjoy them. (The New Genogoths story will have Gen X in it shortly, but it's going to mostly be about my own team I created.)
