Haha! Ah, I've been looking for a fic where in Jill finds out about Eustace's 'undragoning', and have found it. I love the end, "who no longer deserved his name" . . . Made me laugh! Awesome fic!

This story is really quite cute, humorous, and well done. I always wondered whether Eustace had ever told Jill about his enchantment. The only thing I don't think would have happened is him having a leftover scar, but it works for your story. Nicely paced too.

Interesting, nice.

What a brilliant read! I never considered whether or not Jill knew about Eustace being a dragon. The dialogue between them was great. And I especially loved Eustace's reactions to everything.

Job well done. Thank you for sharing. :)

Eustace could have saved himself a whole lot of discomfort by just being open with her. After all, it's not like she wouldn't have believed him. Nice one-shot.

That was lovely!

Half-truths are tricky things. I am glad you kept him from going too far.

That was a great one-shot. Much better, I have to confess, than the one-shot I did about Jill and Eustace a long while back (it had a COMPLETELY different plot from yours, by the way, if you're wondering) was.

Anywho, I really loved all the details in this story: The bits about Alberta, the way Eustace thinks of what makes a boring book now that he's learned his lessons in Narnia, and, of course, The mark on his arm that still remained after he was turned back from a dragon (I like that a lot, it sort of reminds me of how a lot of people who write about the aftermath of Edmund's adventures in Narnia mention him having a stomach scar from his battle wound when Jadis stabbed him with her broken wand; it's a nice change of pace to see the same sort of detail appilied to his cousin).

It was nice how you kept everyone in character. Eustace espeically. Jill was great in this too, but it really seemed, aside from her comic relief, like Eustace's fanfic to shine in with Pole in a more "supporting" role. It was cute, I thought, how he was worried she would be mad at him when she found out the truth about "Dragons and enchantments".

As far as writing-style, I think it was very smooth and standard for the most part, resulting in an easy and fun read. There were a few minor punchuation errors scattered through-out, but nothing truly distracting in the least.

So, in closing, great story. Keep up the good work.

Hurray! A Eustace-tells-Jill-about-being-a-dragon fic! You've done a good job with this, with making it interesting and thought-provoking while still keeping it short and to the point. The scars on Eustace's arm was something I hadn't thought of before. And I liked how you wrote that 'he was very good at drawing realistic, if not very imaginative pictures'. That makes sense for Eustace.

The dialogue was probably my favorite thing about this-that and Eustace's reactions to what happens. The way he dodges her questions about the dragons in Narnia and the dragon that 'helped them' made me snicker. The last line ties it up quite nicely, bringing back to mind the reason they were together in the first place and giving us the title. :) Brilliant job. Well done.

Lion be with you,

KC
