So sad the first time Gibbs and some of the team met Sonny. He was explaining about Tony. And his recklessness and self worth of being a nothing. His father sure did a number on him. Luckily he had/found Sonny and his family.

Glad Gibbs and some of the team came also. After the news Tony got he would need them especially Gibbs.

Loved Gibbs tiring to get it through Tonys head he still and will always have a job.

Great conclusion which leaves me wondering if there will be a sequel. Tony is well on his way to recovery and will hopefully beat the odds as he seems to have a way of doing (15% survival rate - he survived, etc). I really enjoyed reading this story.

Tony is really persistent with insisting that he be fired. It's a good thing that Gibbs is far more stubborn than he.

Great flashback scene to when Gibbs and Sonny met for the first time. Again, Sonny has wonderful insight into why Tony is the way he is and what makes him tick.

Great speech from Gibbs which gave an excellent assessment of Tony's role on the team and how he works. It is great to see Gibbs taking on a more direct fatherly role in Tony's life.

Tony really seems to be in dire straits. It is good that there are people surrounding him willing and able to help. Hopefully he will take the offered help.

Sounds like Tony is going to need more than just a week off with his lungs in such bad condition. It was great having the other doctors there to help Dr. Brad Pitt suss out a way to help Tony get better and hopefully keep his job.

This chapter helps build the suspense marvelously. Interesting insight into the similarities between Sonny and Jethro. I'm wondering what is going on with Tony and if he'll be alright.

Nice description of how Tony's emotional mask works. I'm hoping that he gets some comfort, that he doesn't continue to attempt to shoulder all of this on his own. I like that you have him still dealing with the aftermath of the plague and am looking forward to reading on and seeing how this part of the drama will unfold.

Sonny describes Tony really well, I like the insight he seems to have in his nephew and that it seems he and Gibbs are both working toward helping him see his own self worth. Hopefully that will at least begin to happen during his vacation.

I really like the back-story you are creating for Tony and how you are bringing out his underlying lack of self-worth which he hides behind a mask. I find this line to be very insightful: "Jason is a lot like Gibbs, a functional mute...".

Interesting premise to begin the story with, Vance forcing Tony to go on vacation. It fits that Gibbs, Ducky and Abby would be the only ones to know that Tony is related to Sonny Corinthos. Nice set up.

Thank you for the update. Used to watch General Hospital years and years ago. But I remember Sonny and Jason. Fantastic story and chapter. I had almost forgotten about this story and was glad to find the update. Hope it won't be so long again before we get the next update. I know that it can't be helped sometimes cause of RL. But...
