I can just imagine Shinji drunk! xD It'd even be in character, seeing as he's pretty goofy. I like that. Like most of the vizards, Shinji goes from serious to silly in the blink of an eye. Which is why he's so fun to read about. :-)

A bit short, which made it hard for me, but I like the idea of Shinji/Aizen.

And by illusion, did you mean that they're not really in a relationship, or used to be?

I think the feeling you describe Aizen as having here could actually work with his character. A sort of disgusted pity seems to fit him.

That was so depressing! However, I can't think of many other ways for this pairing to go...

I really liked the last line's mention of an illusion.
