This is so tragic because of how much I love Hotch and I just can't image him dead. But it was so beautiful because he would do something like that for Jack. This was heartwretching and heartwarming Fantastic job;D

How the heck did I miss this? Damn, your making me cry. At least little man is in good hands.

It is sad for me to think in Hotch dead, but this is truly amazing writing.

Poor Jack, but I love the thought that even though his father is dead, his last gift was leaving the team for his him. A group of people who love him and be there for him, whatever happens.

I'm not the best with words sometimes so I only review when very moved, but this warrants it. It was just soooo Hotch. He left his son him the hands of the best team, his. He knows exactly what Jack will need and how best to give that to him. I'd love to see the Council in action. Rossi getting called to school. Them sharing bad dating experiences with him to get him over a broken heart. The girls going Mama Bear on someone over him. I throw myself in front of a train before screwing with someone those three care about. I'd love to see him get to have a big brother kind of moment with Henry. I wonder if he left letters for the team asking them to take care of Jack. Those would be heartbreaking. Keep it up. Please.

Beautifully written and had me in tears. It's so sad to think of Hotch having passed on, but it's so like him to make arrangements for his son so that he'll be looked after by the same people who loved his father during his lifetime. Definitely a Kleenex box moment.

Oh wow. Just... wow! You've got me all choked up now. That was really beautiful. Of course Aaron would make arrangements on all fronts for his son knowing that he wouldn't be there. And as it should be (in my eyes anyway), Dave is at the top of the list. I also like how you used Aaron's experience with grief to help Jack realize that he can't try to suppress his grief or try to get through it alone. Another masterful piece. Well done.

My father wrote three such letters in the hours before his death for my brothers and I, and we treasure the "sound" of his voice and the final written sign of his love for each of us.

You gave that gift to Jack with this story, and you did it beautifully. Thank you.
