I nearly cried at this...I knew who the speaker was from the line "Towards your mother, towards me, towards Skimble, perhaps?". I really love this, there are precious few fics out there centering around the older cats, and I like the way you explained the whole Busto/Jenny/Skimble thing. I'm a Jenny/Skimble shipper myself... *grins* *applauds heartily*
