A woman tying a man's tie is one of my kinks, so that was an adorable scene to read. The rest of it, Jack's grieve, resting his forehead against hers, her final words to him, her faith, is what makes this a really beautiful and emotional read.

This touched me particularly, I feel like it really covers his relationship with his father, always longing for acceptance, never knowing he had it, the words never said. This is beautifully and very sad. To be tormeted by a nightmare is terrible anyway, but to be tormented by one that may or may not be true...heartbreaking. You have such a great skill in writing, I love to read these. Really great job!

Guh! This one is just...so very beautiful. Gorgeous imagery. Love that Kate is his light, but that she still can't quite quell his fears. (Even if she doesn't know what's happening.) I'm assuming it's kinda like he's pull to the island. No matter how much he loved Kate, his destiny always had that choke hold on him that pulled him away from her, even when he didn't necessarily want to be. Or I'm just probably reaching with that comparision. But either way, this was very lovely. And I just absolutely adore the way you write Jack.
