I just finished this story and enjoyed it very much, but two things did confuse be in the end.

What happened to Dudley and what boy needed to be raised (referred to in the last paragraph).

I like the story, it's good aside from a few minor spelling and grammar mistakes, but there is one thing that is just bad. Please stop copying and pasting scenes from your previous story Of Lions and Wards: A New Home, as it just makes reading both seem extremely repetitive, especially when you forget to edit certain things. Other that, though, it is a good story, and I hope you continue to write and improve as you go.

Like how Ginny and Moody got Tom to talk not through torture but instead from playing mind games. Alas, now the wizarding world can begin to heal. Keep up the good work.

I just read the story up to chapter 17. Aside from some minor grammatical errors (I will not be nitpicky about them), this is an enjoyable story. I like the character development and their personalities have been captured quite well. Any deviation from the books portrayal is explained. The 'butterfly effect' from Draco and Harry's confrontation on the train creating a friendly rivalary...brilliant idea. You have written it very well.

I'm really looking forward to more.

Black's parents were second cousins in the book (according to the Black family tree).

I wonder if they realised that the reason why Harry was not killed by the curse was as he had been a horcrux.

I also wonder how the curse on the DDA position had been lifted before Riddle was dead.

Severus is Draco's godfather in many fan fictions abut there is no indication that he is in the books. Your story is different but in the original the Malfoy's are rich pure blood snobs and Snape is a half blood from a poor family. It would be most unlikely unless Snape had something special to offer.

Tobias was an abusive man and would be more like petunia. He was also a muggle so the magical blood must have come from Lily’s mother as Dudley is magical.

Oh, this is lovely. I love the way you write. And yes, Petunia seems much nastier than Vernon. Did you know she threw a frying pan at Harry in the second book? "Merlin she would have done well in the middle ages as part of the inquisition" Haha, that made me laugh. Thanks for writing! I'm on to read the rest now :)

Nice chapter. I like your Lucius's attitudes. The Malfoy's seemed to be a close family in canon and it's nice to see the patriarch make a decision that would protect his son.

Butter pecan is better on pancakes, though.

Grayback - dead or not?

In Chapter 6:

He ran on and Severus drug Remus to the whomping willow and levitated a stick at the knot in the tree. He had very bad memories of nearly being eaten by Remus here but that would not happen now. He had killed Grayback, a very powerful and deadly werewolf, and Remus though a powerful wizard was not a very powerful werewolf.

In Chapter 15:

"You publically state you do not believe he is back, while behind the scenes madam Bones can start working on an army." Moody said, "if we can get the werewolves say on our side, say by having Remus take on and kill Grayback."

And a lot of Grayback in chapter16.

A lot of 'he' when writing around Bellatrix, I do think it's a 'she'.

Well - I do read it, of that reason I give it an 'A'.

And for orginality you get en 'E'.
