The scene between Aganir/Helen/Marak was interesting. Both of their relationships with her and each other were really well done. Since she's seen what Marak looks like will Aganir "accidentally" let her see him too?

LOL at Aganir's reaction to Helen handcuffing him. I was worried he was getting too serious for a while. It's funny that he would be so amused at Helen trapping him. But that said, he should still be able to use his magic to get out of it.

OMG! Loved it! Especially the ending. Tricky men. By the way, in the first or second paragraph, did you mean the goblins trickled or tricked in? Anyway loved it! Hope the next chapter comes as quickly as this one did.

The whole 'capture them, dissect them, and discover their secrets' reminds me a bit of Area 51 or E.T. and what's scary is that these humans can fight back a lot more than the ones from Kate's time. Marak and Aganir should be grateful it's only the 1940's and Youtube and instant messaging hasn't been invented yet. Otherwise every scientist and sci-fi fan would be racing to the area to check out the goblins.

After last chapter, I was a bit worried of the outcome to Dibah and Elizabeth. Now though, it seems like Helen has a plan which gives me some hope.

Though, was handcuffing really necessary? Surely by this point he knows the seriousness of what's going on and would have listened to Helen anyway. And just because elves don't like metal doesn't mean he can't work magic.

Loved it! Especially the twist at the end. I was so curious to find out just what Helen's plan was. Jack is so annoying! But (and this is admitted grudgingly) a very good and important character. Can't wait to see what happens next, and (even though I know she never would) I hope Helen isn't going all evil with the handcuff thing. Nice Job!

First off, Jack is crazy! Was he really going to cut himself just so she could show them her healing power?

But I like how the humans are able to fight the goblins and elves on an almost equal footing using their technology. That makes this story really unique.

It's sweet that Nir is trying to understand Helen and the war. As he said, most elf kings don't put that much effort into getting a wife, so it shows that he cares about her. Also nice references to the series.

I'm really curious to see what's going on with the goblins. By now they should know of it, and I'm guessing some goblin revenge is in order. I just hope that the goblins that Jack attacked will be alright.

Good update! It's cool that Aganir is still stressing about finding out about what Helen's going through with the war. Pretty realistic for an elf to be that emotionally sensitive like this.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when the police question Helen and how Marak/Aganir respond to the attack.

I liked seeing things from Jack's perspective so we could get what he's going through and how he came to the conclusions he did. It's interesting how right and wrong the conclusions he's getting to are.

I like seeing Jack's POV. The last chapter makes more sense now knowing what was going on with him, and what he was thinking.

Wonder how far along Jack will get with his plot to go after the goblins. And chances are Helen is not going to approve.

Again love it! It was interesting to see exactly how Jack came to the conclusion that there were goblins and elves. Can't wait to see what Helen thinks of all this and how she'll stop Jack. Wouldn't it be funny if Jack developed... oh I don't know, an unhealthy obsession with Helen because she healed his arm. Just an idea...;)

Jack's back. I'm still curious how he's going to play into the story. The purpose of his fight with Alberta didn't seem clear since he and Helen don't seem interested in each other.

But Helen discovering she has healing magic when she accidentally used it on a patient was pretty cool. Did she heal Jack too?
