So that explains it! My heart actually broke for him over the reading. Obviously, it's one of my favorite things to do in the world and can't imagine like without reading. That would truly be hell to me, although I will admit to being okay with books on CD. In fact, I think some books are even more interesting that way.

I'm liking this Bella more and more. Despite what she knows (most likely) about how the other people in her life would react to Edward, she's still following her heart. Now THAT'S refreshing!

This is my first foray into savage-land. I'll admit that I've always considered myself too much of a wuss to read your stories, but I didn't want to count NOT reading your work as one of MY regrets. I'll be seeing you at the TFMU and wanted to make sure that I got at least one of your stories under my belt before then. I was told this is a safe one. ;)

I really like Edward's honesty, though I'll admit that sometimes he seems almost too simple to me. Maybe that's my own "judging," I don't know. Regardless, I really, really like him!

And Bella too! While I hate that thought that she is caught up in that pretentious high society bullshit, she's willing to follow her gut and her heart, despite her own misgivings. I appreciate her ability to step outside of her comfort zone and just go with it. In all honesty, I'm not sure I could. Good for her!

I also love that Edward is so eager to just make breakfast for her. It's really pretty swoon-worthy. :)

I am so proud of Bella for standing up for herself to her Dad. That is so hard to do and scary but such a rush after one realizes they really did it! It's very empowering.

I do hope you add to this story some day. Like you said there are so many directions it can go and these two are definitely just beginning!
