I quite like it as a oneshot. :) Even though it's not technically Vicky Angel fanfic, I noticed you used a couple of points from the story (most obviously in the paragraph about Nikki's funeral, which was very well done, by the way. The hippopotamus part was sweet!), which worked surprisingly well. I thought this was incredibly touching, and you have a great narrative voice.
