I was hoping so much that this wouldn't really become Zack/Cloud...

I do not have any issues with gay couples...except this one. Zack thinking of Cloud sexually makes me uncomfortable since Cloud was like...his baby for a year.

I'm going to read the rest and see where this goes. I like it so far, despite the sort-or pairing thingy going on in the end there.

In the beginning, when Zack was wondering about what Hojo did to Cloud, I had this wonderful mental image of him looking out Aerith's window, watching Cloud pick up a truck with one hand.

"Hmm, something seems different about him. . ."

XD lol.

I could also picture him grabbing Cloud by the hand and dragging him into the bathroom to shower. Cloud would be so embarrassed, he'd probably slip into a second coma, haha!

Aww, poor Zack. He didn't get his Zackwich!

I love how he doesn't even consider the possibility that he may be bisexual, or that Aerith and Cloud might have a problem with a threesome. That's so very in character of him to ignore stuff like that. :)
