This is the most heart warming fic i have ever read. Nakago is my fav character and it greatly pleases me to read stories where he is not made a fool of or any such thing.My only wishes are that you continoue to write such beautiful stories and, of course, there is the jealousy that i wish i could write as well as you. Perhaps with practice, i shall perhaps write a story as nice as this one? If i do.. i would be honoured if you would read and review it. Take care and enjoy.

*blinks* Wow. That. was. so. damn. good. I absolutely loved this fic! You incorporate the novel and the manga so well, and you make all our favorite FY characters and their feelings come alive in a spectacular way! I love your writing. When it comes to FY fics, yours are definately my favorite!

hey this is all just a recall of the whole fushigi yuugi series! nothing creative there.

*laughs sheepishly and scratches the back of her neck* Boy! I didn't expect this to be this long. Frankly, I just searched for fics that centered on Nakago, and your story summary caught my eye.

So, I started reading... and Reading... and not once did it cross my mind to stop! It's now 3 am >_

This is a simply beautiful piece of work. It shows Nakago, whom many people perceive as a heartless and cold villain, in a good light. I read most of your fics, and they're all very good. I like it when you write fics about Nakago and/or Soi. However, I think you deserve more reviews.

And, in case you wanted to know, I put you on my "favorite authors" list. I hope it makes you happy! :) Your writing is so good, you deserve to be on my faves list! I'm kind of jealous of your writing, in fact. :) I wish I could write as good as you, but I'm only 12.

This is a beautiful piece of work. Exquisite, shaking, brilliantly written. That's it, you now officially rule. I can't believe what I've been missing out here! Man, I gotta go back and read all the rest of your (checks) (chokes) 53 fics. Hard work, but I'm willing to bet it's worth it.

Perhaps, when you have the time, you should re-read this one. Not only will it be an ego-booster, it'll give you a chance to correct several mistakes, including a few scattered extra words.

You've got great writing, there. I'm... jealous. This is sooo good. It desplays a character that most people think is just cruel for the hell of it, but really, it shows why Nakago is the way he is. I love Nakago, and this story rocks!

Nakago is a character not often spoken of in such terms, just a dark and terrible force plaguing Miaka. Instead, you show the reader his self-loathing, making them admire him for his guilt and repentance. Thank you for writing this.

Wow... just wow...O_O..That was amazing. I was cheering when it turned out to be Ashtari in his head. You make references to a Nakago novel? Can you find this online? Love the story and keep writing!

For a while there, I thought that Nakago was becoming schizophrenic *grins*. You managed to bring across the concept of vulnerability and confusion in Nakago...the parts of himself he never shows anyone. There always seems to be a silent battle going on inside him, but more often than not, he represses his more human side. Your idea of poor Nakago-sama having to relive his life over and over ala "groundhog day" is one thing I've never seen anyone else attempt, at least not in an FY fic...great work!

Whoa. O.O awesome story, it flowed very well, i was totally sucked in. when the voice (i can't believe it was *ashitare*!!) talked to nakago, and then he didn't follow the advice, i was practically yelling at the comp! "c'mon,nakago, do good, listen to that voice!aarrgh!" ^-^;; So yeah, if you haven't guessed it by now, i REALLY liked this story, well-written and all that. May the muse be with you, and DUCT TAPE FOREVER! ^_~

Simply amazing. I don't know where to begin...because I haven't read the novels yet, your beginning opened up my eyes to Nakago's feelings during the beginning of his stay in the Kutou palace. I'm a litte surprised that you didn't put that part where Nakago, still holding Soi's body, confronts the Kutou Emperor and kills him, but it's all good. I thought that having Ashitare as his 'guardian spirit' of sorts *was* an interesting twist.

Goddess, I wish I could tell you what my favorite part was and why, like a good reviewer, but I truly liked all of it...actually, I liked the part where Nakago is going over why he didn't want to rape Miaka best, just because of the link to his past that shows in that move of mercy.

Then again, every other part in the story is a *very* close second.

You had me in near tears at the end, a rare thing indeed. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story, especially about a character that I've always been iffy about...this really changed my views on the Seiryuu no shichiseishi known as Nakago.

This is one of the first fics I've ever read that shows Nakago's past and his painful secret life. His childhood memories were handled well I think.

And very true to. The scene with the old emperor and all of that was done well. Chibi-Nakago's feelings during that experience was done well.
