Ohhh man... all I can say is that its a damn good thing that all three ninja aren't sick at the same time. I don't think the Joes woudl be able to survive it. but i wonder how often Snake-eyes has to replace his shelves sinces he throws such sharp objects at them so much.

Great story. I can imagine that Snake would be very bored being laid up, although at least he has a nice girlfriend to baby him through it. Funny how guys get when they're sick...even the "tough" ones :-)

I love this. I read it twice yesterday, and again today.

I feel bad for poor Snake... pneumonia is NOT fun, and coughing so hard your chest hurts and it irritates your throat so you cough more is one of the suckier feelings in life. However, getting fussed over by his girlfriend and getting to torment his teammates, and getting to demand room service. Incidentally, Beach is the most badass room service waiter ever. He can come serve me food in bed. Preferably while wearing the Ranger Panties.

Also love the fact that Shana is too smart to be fooled by the "I totally need you to take care of me and pamper me" act, but willing to go along with it anyway because she loves him:) The boredom relief through using your furniture and as throwing targets is also great. Don't know if you meant to bring Sherlock Holmes to mind there, but you did, and I geeked out a little:)

LOL! I loved this! I was hoping someone would write a SnakeEyes-centric story and this was great! Favorite line: "Sighing heavily, he rolled over and tugged his blankets higher. *Go, I'll just die here alone.*" Hilarious! I love how you portray SnakeEyes as having a dramatic sense of humor when everyone else (or most everyone) thinks he's just some scary ninja. I hope you write another soon! :D

Thank you! This was just what I needed after a long day. I opened it up, laughed myself sick, read to the bottom and then started all over again. You've done it again, madam. Kudos.

The best bit? Had to be Snake-Eyes screwing around with the codes. Bored ninja are inventive ninja, I believe, and I love the idea of Snake-Eyes completely floored by something like pneumonia yet still finding a way to piss off/terrorize the rest of the base. And ah, rumors . . . hard to avoid when someone like him is involved.
