It took me a while to understand, but I get it now. This is about the day Charles died. He was sick, in his sister’s house and just before passing, his mind came back once more to Wonderland.

God, that was amazingly written. At some points in the story, even in his mind, he can feel the physical pain caused by his illness. And at the end, “He drifted in and out of Wonderland and a wracking cough consumed him.” Finally, he was gone. Now, he lives in the world he created, which he’s always belonged to.

I’m genuinely touched by this, seriously. I feel tears coming down. Job well done.

I loved the beginning. I felt a little lost somewhere in the middle. Great use of vocabulary. Would like to see more of your imagination rather than a familiar story line as in Alice in Wonderland. Descriptions were great. Keep going, very talented.
