I don't know how many times I've read this and it still makes me tear up every time. I love this story so much, and every time I hear the song I can see this whole thing play out in my head. _

the story is called Cruel Sisters and i read it in a book called "Book of Enchantments". Anne, Elenor and Margaret were the sister names. Anne and Elenor fought while Margaret pulled them apart. So it was that Elenor 'stole' Anne's love william and anne pushed Elenor into the river. Samething with the harp and the harper happens except that when Elenor sings, it goes "Mother and father, queen and king, farewell to you, farewell i sing. Farewell to william, sweet and true, Farewell, dear sister Meg, to you. But woe to my fair sister Anne Who killed me for to take my man." And in the story Anne breaks the harp and is sent away. So all in all its not really as happy as your story but i REALLY like your ending better cuz of herro and duo. THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
