Amazing, intricate fic! Love the dynamics you have set-up between Shinichi and Kaito. I liked how you had Kaito test Shinichi before he began to fully trust him. Considering that Kaito has never revealed his secret, I can imagine that he would have a hard time trusting someone else with it - especially someone who might turn him in - but still being so thrilled to know there could be someone out there like him.

Obviously with how things have developed in the manga since then it seems the Yuusaku and Toichi had a better relationship, but I did find the take on Yuusaku's stance very interesting.

Seeing as how this hasn't been updated in nearly eight and a half years, my guess is that it won't get updated again, but thank you for the wonderful story you did write! If you ever do update, I will look forward to it!

I watched the first 300-350 episodes a few months ago and decided to take a break (I watched them marathon style for a couple of weeks).

Your story kind of makes me want to watch the other 300-350 episodes and the dozens of movies.

It really is a difficult thing to get into if you're so far behind.

OH! I do hope that you would continue this story. It's so great! You even write a case, that's fantastic! And it's gonna be the heist then which I totally love to see how they would work together. Because Shinichi still seems uncomfortable about involving with the criminal side so I really want to see him get over it (and stop hurting Kaito by accident).

I love Kaito's ability to hid his feeling yet looks forboding at the same time either with Ran or Haibara. I've never consider being his enemy could feel this scary before. And I like it when he went to comfort Conan, too. It touched my heart and made me cried.

OMG! I absolutely loved this chapter! The bst by far! From the guy's man to man and bonding, and the end when both girls showed up and actually got the WRONG guy! Hilarious! I actually wasn't too sure about Kaito and Shinichi meeting with Shinichi back to normal and not being little, but you totally pulled it off! I was lol-ing when Shinichi kept making fun of all of Kaito's weaknesses (is the fish thing legit by the way?) Oh, you can't possible comprehend how much fun I'm having right now!

I really hope you update soon. I've always been wearing of stories that hadn't had updates in a long time and this one hasn't been updated in over 7 years, but it's totally worth it and I hope this gets finished!

You're story is absolutely great and awe-inspiring, but I'm wondering here. What's the clock tower incident Kid keeps refering to? The foirst time I can remember them having contact is during the balck pearl incident, but you speak of a time before Shinichi's change that they faced each other. Help me out here?
