Just beautiful. A fascinating look into Aeris' mind, it shows a lot of her human flaws and frailties that a lot of authors (myself included, unfortunately) tend to overlook or forget about altogether. I like her insights into the nature of religion and the building itself (though I always personally thought the people in the FFVII world - Aeris especially - were more spiritual in general than actually religious, on the whole, not that I'm criticising here!) and her intital anger and moral outrage is very intensely done.

Her character just comes through so *well* in this story. If only we had more Aeris fics like this.

Ah, the author and her inferiority complex. This doesn't suck at all, it's very nice. It gives Aerith the cynical streak that Square should have given her.

Hey, I haven't read this fic but I will later on. I just wanna agree with your opinion, I left a review in your favor if you wanna check it out. People gotta be really pathetic to get horny off Seph raping Tif. Of course I didn't say that in the review but I will if anyone insults anyone else in a manner as tasteless as some pplz. Why can't they get rape is NOT sex? I'm all for sex between the pplz who love another, I find it quite beautiful in fact. But rape... is like the exact opposite of "sex" I have in mind, gentle, loving act which the both parties want and enjoy. Good god, rape is sexy? ... Not to sound egotistical, but what's wrong with them???

Woooow. That was SO GOOD. I mean, absolutely amazing. Excellent. If you want to see something that sucks, see some of myyy FFVII fics. Like my first (not posted, wooo). This does NOT suck. I could definitely see Aerith with these thoughts, or this explanation.. The church, her opinions,Zack, everything. Superb! Yay!

The common perception of Aeris seems to be that she is a deeply spiritual person. However, living in the slums, she very likely has a deep cynical streak, which you captured wonderfully in this fic. I liked your take on Aeris and her views on religion.

this sucks? sucks that you should think so. it's quite beautiful. it lends this discreet realism to a character who people have twisted into this perfectly righteous angel-on-earth. the writing is thorough without being overly-detailed, but provides just enough detail for the reader to feel that these are things Aeris is remembering, the whole stream-of-consciousness/memory thing. i hope i see more from you--you've got the gift!
