This dialogue was pure gold. It had me smiling like an idiot. Good story.

Sooooo cute! Though having Dick be secretive about Batman and the Batcave got slightly annoying, since it seemed out of place, you got his character down pat and the plot was great. Loved whenever Bruce was at a loss for words :)

That is so cute! I love Dick and Babs, they are such a cute couple. I like this version of how they first met. You did well with the discriptions and what Dick was thinking. This was a very fun read.

Very sweet and extrememly well-writen. I especially loved the way you gave a nod toward the military (Am I correct in guessing you're a servicemember?) though I wondered how Dick at nine years old would know about drill sergeants and sergeants major... But great story overall!

This is one of the most genuinely enjoyable stories I've read in quite some time. Enjoyable plot, enjoyable flow, and full of all those cute moments that are promised from the very beginning. Definately a winner.

Ah, love at first sight meets puppy love. How romantic - in a kids-taking-down-the-bad-guys way.

/Bruce and Alfred both looked nonplussed, the first and only time I've ever seen them both caught off guard. I guess that's what becoming a parent does to you. Even when you try to plan for every contingency, something happens you never could've anticipated./

Like the fact that the fifteen-year-old babysitter knows more about taking care of kids than you do. *snicker* Very interesting meeting for those two, and I could just see that happening...

I love Bruce's reaction to Dick's question of marriage, and how Dick gets to be the one to first see Babs' potential as a future superhero. But I have to say, my favorite part by far was how Dick kept accidentally letting things slip about the cave and then trying to cover it up. 9-year-olds are so cute, and you definitely got the voice down.

This story was great! It had action, humor, and those requisite sweet moments when you're reading from a kid's perspective.

You REALLY got into Dick's head. It was adorable the way he was telling the story like we didn't know that Batman was Bruce Wayne. It was like he could have been telling ANYONE that story... I could picture him telling a friend at school or something.

I'm a huge fan of the Dick/Babs relationship... even when it's still forming. And you did it perfectly.
