As short as this was, it was great, and I think that's a sign of a really talented writer. This captivated me right from the second line, and I wasn't disappointed when it was over - I think this has the perfect ending. :)

Very lovely, poignant. This line especially struck me: "He tries to find her between the lines and interwoven leaves of grass."

The "boozy-breath" bit reminds me of Looking for Alaska.

I liked this, especially the Part about Whitman and the grass :)

Wow. I'm not a huge poetry person most of the time, but this is a really beautiful piece. On my list of favorite poems, it's right up there with 'Looking For Alaska'. (I think it's safe to place that book under the category of poetry, don't you think?) Keep up the good work.
