Silph Co should sue Devon Corp for stealing their ideas. Silph invented the Pokeball, Devon repainted it. They can't even sell them, they have to give them away. Question: Can parseltongue let you converse with snake Pokemon like Ekans? If so, then Voldemort probably would have a team made of serpents, stereotypically. I think Harry should use common Pokemon in his team. He is the most common Pokemon fishing, and the only thing caught by the Old Rod.
