you are a very special author in my mind. this fanfic was the first one i ever read, and you are a very well rounded writer. i made the mistake of reading this to my brother first, and he was more than a little freaked out by the torture scene, so i am having a little trouble reading him your humorfics.

i am writing a fanfic which i will start when i have an account up. one of my charactors is based off of egla ash, but he dies, and so does the main charactor (maybe i should make my name charactor killer). i would be thrilled to death if you read then.

man, aragorn has a lot of names! Aragorn,Estel,Dunadan (u didn't make that up did u? i know he is a Dunedain), Elessar King, Strider, Ranger.

That, my dear author, was beautifully written. I'm honestly at a loss for words... The characters were perfect and true to their form, and I loved their interaction. I'm so glad you posted. Keep up the amazing work!

I have mixed feelings about this. I really think that the kind orc is a bit of a stretch of the imagination... But at the same time, I love the Legolas torture. That bit was quite fun. :)

So far so good! To be honest, I really can't imagine a compassionate orc who could speak elvish, but maybe there's something I dont know? cannae wait to find out. You're a good writer xx

Aw! I agree with Viggomaniac I want to know what happenned to Egla Ash! and how he came to have blue eyes.

I've been checking out older stories on the site and found this one a few days ago. Very well written, interesting concept. Although Aragorn is my favorite LOTR character, I will read Legolas stories that feature Aragorn, too. Thus, the review. Egla Ash, the good orc - intriguing. I guess I don't know how that would happen, but frankly, don't really care. The story itself was marvelous, and I liked the way he felt a bond with Legolas and helpd him out of his predicament. Aragorn's respect for Legolas' feelings was well done, too. Even "I" felt terrible for the poor elf in this story. Nice, understated description of what he underwent, though. Anyway, don't know if you still are writing on the site, just wanted to express appreciation for a well written story. The only glitch that stood out was the use of "drug" instead of "dragged". Wish you'd write a followup. It leaves us wondering what happened to Egla Ash.

This is a beautiful story. It could be a beautiful tale of a friendship with the orc, too, but his faith must have been dark, right? I don't know much of Tolkien's world, and I don't know if an orc can be able to live apart from his kin. I really like this one, it is short but lovely (in the bittersweet way).
