Oh, quite nice! I'm glad that Gamp didn't get cheered by the mob for torturing Malfoy for being a Slytherin; that could easily have been the reaction.

And where was Rita Skeeter in all this? I suspect her files on Gamp would have been far more extensive than the public ones.

Anyway, I did like how you put together the slowly growing relationship between Hermione and Snape.

While I absolutely LOVED this story - the character development, the original plot - there was one thing I have a grudge against, and you aren't the only person to do it:

Harry Potter jumps in to save the day - I would much prefer to see Snape save Hermione, or she save herself, but with Harry coming in, saving the girl, and then "cleaning up" and "giving a statement", it just feels like you tried to put Harry in a place he doesn't belong.

Now that I'm done with sorta-constructive criticism, I just want to tell you how amazingly good this story is! The theme of it was cool, the point about the fine line between good and evil, light and dark, and the nonexistence of a black-and-white world are so well woven in there that they don't even feel cliche or preachy! I admire the introduction and conclusion because while they serve their purpose to lead you in and lead you out, they were their own parts. They tied together well and I loved how they set forth the point, the moral of the story long before the plot came in. The way you did this really made me see your point and the way that the Golden Trio's Hermione Granger went to the Death Eater Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy really tied in well with the ideas of the not-black-and-white-world!

I love this story, and have one more question before I sign off - I didn't quite understand the title Burn Out The Sun for this story. If you could reply with an answer I would be grateful.

Thanks, and good work,

From Trezelle2, Ravenclaw Beta

P.S. Congratulations on my longest review!

I wish I knew a bit more about the fate of Lucius in this Brave New World. At least the Granger-Snape-Malfoy trio were able to wake the people up. Now if it were just that easy in our own society.

Now that was an excellent story. You illustrated perfectly how easily someone could take advantage of lingering fears and prejudices in the wake of war to bring about a brand-new nightmare. Well done.
