I feel so sad for Kat...
I honestly never came to terms with Kat as the pink ranger. She's an awesome person, and so very sweet, but she had really big shoes to fill to replace (well, there we go), or rather, build a presence of her own as the next Pink Ranger. It has nothing to do with her, but rather, that Kimberly was just such an amazing presence in the first team. Then, the writers decided she should have a canon relationship with Tommy, and it just made things a lot worse... :/

I really do feel for her here though, and this story makes so much sense (heartbreakingly so), and I think it resonates with a lot of people in real-life too, about not wanting to, but being forced to, AND failing, your predecessor's shoes.
