I absolutely love this second little scene you have given us of Alice and Uncas. You say much in just a few words. It is, however, distracting to have typos and sudden changes of verb tense in the middle of a sentence. I would enjoy your writing and even more if you would proof read it or get a beta to read it before posting.

I was so thrilled to see that you'd written another Alice/Uncas fic. I love that it contrasts with the last one. There it was emotion and sensuality in a quiet mundane moment. Here the surroundings are so wild and intense and the beautiful quiet touch was so moving. And it was also delightfully sexy. This is just really great work.
