Dragonwing 1/8/13 . chapter 1 It started out fine, but I'm here to read fanfiction, not to be evangelized. And my disliking for Christianity is so great that I couldn't stand reading it past chapter 20, really. |
Lila 10/4/12 . chapter 21 I really liked the premise of this story but I can't read it anymore. As this story progresses I feel like you're trying harder and harder to shove your god down my throat more and more each chapter. |
Lily1992 6/12/12 . chapter 53I love thhis Story D |
MoonyPadfootProngs14 5/8/12 . chapter 53This is amazing, you managed to portray everything beautifully, and you have great writing skill. I do have one thing to say though. Diolla le was Quenya for thank you, the Sindarin is hannon le. |
WeasleysWizardingWheezer 4/16/12 . chapter 53I absolutely adored this story, you had me hooked from the begging! It was fantastic! |
x3sYellowie 12/26/11 . chapter 53LOVED this. I love all the references to the bible, being a catholic myself. With the feeling of joy and happiness everytime I read a phrase that was familiar to me in your story, this verse has never rang any truer than now; Matthew 4:4 : "Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God". I love how sweet Legolas was to her! I've always loved him the most amongst all the other characters in Lord of the Rings. |
Glory Bee 12/6/11 . chapter 53A fairy tale ending :) As a Spirit filled Christian I enjoyed all the Scripture prayer and spiritual warfare. It did seem odd though to have Estel in the story but not Arwen, Elladan or Elrohir even as minor characters. |
Glory Bee 12/6/11 . chapter 15What a stunningly beautiful encounter with our Lord! Brought tears to my eyes. |
queise 11/22/11 . chapter 53 I am wordless, really. This is one of the best fanfics i've ever read. I usually stop in the middle of long ones (with more than 30 chapters) and after a few days I finish the reading, but this one? I've read non-stop until it was over. Amazing job! |
dance life away 7/24/11 . chapter 53Although I did find Summer/Elenath to be a little sue-ish for my liking and the relationship between her and Legolas to be very sugary sweet in a mildly unpleasant way, I enjoyed your story none-the-less. I see you've gotten a lot of criticism about the way in which you blend Christianity with Middle Earth, but this is honestly what I loved most about it. I felt very convicted, actually, throughout the story and the way in which characters such as Elenath, Kara, etc trust God. It was very inspiring and uplifting. |
Deusluxmea 6/18/11 . chapter 53wait, i'm confused. . .so this is BEFORE lord of the rings? |
Anony moss 3/30/11 . chapter 19 It's an awesome story but there's too much religion. I'm not a Christian so it was slightly awkward reading about Jesus and all... But it's still an awesome story! |
The Earl of Pudding 6/16/10 . chapter 53lovely story. i enjoyed it immensely. I only wish you hadn't made God such a large part of the story. Although I am a Christian myself, I do not believe that Middle Earth belongs to our God. And those who were not of the Christian faith could have easily been dissuaded from reading such a wonderful story! Congratulations and thank you! |
VeronicaD13 3/4/10 . chapter 1I love this story! I read it over and over b/c it's got such a great theme and it's so well written. Have you ever thought about writing about the WOR in the Elenath universe? I think that would be a great story, particulary to see if she knows about what will happen, and if she goes along, or stays home with the kids... Thanks for writing! Hope for more in the future! |
marvelchick 2/16/10 . chapter 1Interesting take. I look forward to reading more, this is an excellent start. Oh, and I totally cracked up with ' ,' lol 'live long and prosper' hahaha. |
