Oh, this was just the balm I needed to soothe the ache of having to block that last episode from my memory, and I loved Eric pouting over being labeled "family." I simply refuse to believe they are anything but blissfully entangled.

I loved this! No rust whatsoever! And, I knew there would be a story like this somewhere...I'm glad you were the one to write it...there haven't been enough of your amazing stories on here lately. So...I'm hoping you were right and that's really why Calleigh said this...but...Eric did have kind of a dissapointed look on his face...but one can always hope...because to the best of my knowledge they were together in the first episode! :) Great story! :)

LOL! Yes! Hopefully this is what really happened. I was so upset about their convo that I didn't even think of the fact that they were trying to hide it or whatever. I'm still confused and sad but this thought gives me hope. LOL Anyway.. I loved this story! I love his reference to her being his "friend" and the things he wants to do to her that aren't familial. I love the story wish it would happen like that on the show, because I was very upset with CBS last night for that one, "I love you just like family", I mean really.

Your story is good, but I wish it was longer.

This is exactly what I needed after that episode last night! This is so what I want to think about that last scene. It's the only logical explanation, and you make it seem so natural that I'm choosing to believe they were only playing at being "just friends", lol.

The banter between them was great, from Calleigh earnestly saying that he is really like family to her after he expresses his discomfort from her choice of words in the locker room, to Eric immediately turning around and putting naughty thoughts in her head, and the back-and-forth over who would pay the bill - I can see it all playing out just like this.

And then I love that you have Calleigh turn it around and whisper something dirty in his ear...somehow, even with just a hint of passion, this was so hot! It made me want to go back and read some of your M EC fics, you do have quite a way with the romance between these two, even when it's simmering below the surface.

And "rusty"? Please...you have a way with words and these characters that few others do! I miss your EC writing a lot, and hope that you get inspiration to write some more about these two soon!
