Goodness, I am glad that someone thought about the possibility of these two. They do have something unique in their relationship (whether it goes anywhere or not in the show).

I think the dialogue that you gave Alica and Eli were very 'in character', and consistent to what we have seen on tv. Well done for keeping the reality.

As for the last bit, I think that is rather unlikely, and it would have been better if you had Eli walk out after his outburst - setting the stage for a few chapters more on how Alicia copes with this revelation and more of Eli trying to balance Peter's campaign with his private life.

You surprised me! Alicia & Eli. Something I haven't considered but I'm not opposed to in your fic. Good job.
