I want to see this fic continued. It looks real interesting. I agree, magic isn't out of place...but that tome reminds me of a stereotypical spellbook, it would be too klunky to have in the technological age of the zoids, Ranma should be translating it and putting it into a laptop computer or something. I like the idea of magic being used in a Zoid battle...think of all the interesting side effects it could have on the Zoids, who are technology...which doesn't meld all that well with magic. Wait a sec...that could be how Ranko got her personality!

Keep the chapters coming, and you'll make me a very satified reader.

I have to bring a mistake regarding Ranko's description to light. I have noticed that you say she is a Lightning Saix, which is not by any means a panther type Zoid, like the EZ-023 Hellcat. The Saix is based on a cheetah and is built for speed, not stealth. (On the other hand, she has been customized, so I'm not disputing the stealth shield.)

Can I make a suggestion?
Instead of keeping this just a one-shot bet-fic, make it a regular fic. And add a second chapter, why don't ya??
