I like this story, always thought it odd that no one wrote stories about Kagewaki and have been meaning to do so myself.

Oohhh... My heart aches for Lord Kagewaki. What a beautiful story you have written, it makes me crave for more. But really, like the previous reviews, I've never even thought about him still being conscious in Naraku. I'd have to agree that he would be a much better fit for Kagome compared to the evil hanyou. Anyhow, thank you for sharing this lovely fic with us!

It seemed strange to me that many people seemed to forget that Kagewaki was not just Naraku's temporary identity, but an actual human at one point. I always knew I liked Kagewaki and I am very pleased with this fanfic, as it shows that Kagewaki's presence still lingered and helped to hold back Naraku. I liked the ending as well, as it leaves hope for them to meet for real someday.

It's been such a long time last I found a story that I found worthy of favouring. I'm pretty picky on what gets on my favorites list (and as I've grown older, it's becoming even harder). And, this is one of the very few reviews I've ever given on the Internet.

This story maybe suffered from some degree of naivete, but that's very understandable since this was a short take on Kagewaki's feelings. It was necessary to rush some emotional insights. Nonetheless, you used some very beautiful tropes and it was a pleasurable experience to read the story.

I checked your profile for other stories and I was utterly flabbergasted! My, you are very productive writer! How I wish I had the time or the inspiration to achieve even third of the amount of writing that you can do :'

Siiigh.. Anywho, I'll be checking some more of your stories and hopefully get a new favorite author. :) In the Inuyasha fandom it has become a gruesome task to try and find any decent writers these days. Let alone good ones!

It must be weird getting a review for a story that is almost 2 years old. Anyways I was watching the anime and it always makes me sad that Kagawaki dies. I decided to read some fics about him and came across yours wich was one out of two. It was so sad and it made me want to cry because he fell in love with Kagome and couldn't be with her at all. Good job on it anyway.

Hm, I like this; a bit sad but it's true that Naraku has only absorbed a few humans and they do seem to cause him problems...meaning the Lord would be one of them. I like how you gave him a voice in this.
