Glad for the update. I did feel the chpater was a trifle short, and the flashback didn't serve much of a point if everything is going to change. I would have liked to hear more from Harry's point of view beyond how tough it was to write with a quill.

Will we know just how much Severus knew about Harry's quest in the other timeline? What I mean by that is, was he aware of why Voldie didn't die and can he help with that quest before Harry has to take it on?

Yay, another very interesting chapter. I'm glad that Severus destroyed the cabinet so early. I'm enjoying his OC tendencies as well as the others reactions to it. Minerva's question was perfect. Very well done!

I myself got tyred of fics, that portrait Severus as evil heartless monster, Dumbledore as manipulative bastard, Lucius as misunderstood, gentle, family-loving person, Vernon who abuses and rapes Harry. Coomon people, get real!

I personally always wanted to read some thing like your story, canon characters and time-travel, but unfortunately, so many writers want to change things.

Why? Rowling already did great job inventing the characters for us, we just have to work around it.

Severus is very complicated person, but kind. I always wanted to see his life being improve.

I would like to ask you to add some thing in the 1 chapter - to change Harry's old glasses. Those spectacles was horrid. So please make Severus buy Harry new glasses.

Also the Dursley's house where Harry lives supposedly have to have blood wards, but Severus is deatheater, and he worked to the house freely. I believe in Chapter 2 he have to say it to Headmaster, that there no blood wards.

Also when in chapter 2 Severus will speak with Dursley's, he should add, that Dudley should treat Harry with respect nd do not attack him, and better stay away from Harry.

I wonder what will happened next?

1. Because Harry will come earlier to platform, he will never meet Weasleys.

Ron will newer meet Harry also, because Vernon know that he will have to take Harry to London will take him very early, just to rid of him from the house.

So Harry will be able to find compartment and compartment will full, before Ron will come to station.

about House, that Harry will join, so far, he dont know about Evil Slytherins, he newer met Draco in Madam Malkin Shop, but he knows about Malfoy family. He also know that Draco is Severus godson.

My thoughts about Houses for Harry:

Slytherin- Harry will think very higly of Severus, he will be his subtitute for father. Severus was friend with his mother, bought him lots of staff (clothes, best cauldrons, books), send him portions to drink, bought him snake, warn him about situation in Wizarding world. But the most important he stand up for him, and showed to Dursley's their place. When he will find, that he head of Slytherin House, he will try to go to Slytherin. Also Harry has snake, children will ask him about his pet, and say that Slytherin is house of snakes.

Ravenclow – sorry I dont see Harry go there. After reading in canon now Luna was treated there, I dont like Ravenclow anymore.

Gryffindor will keep Harry getting in the trouble. Ron Weasley is very immature child, and Hermione has serious personality problems. Does Harry knows that his parents was there? Or Hagrid newer told him about it?

Hufflepuff is great House. There is Susan Bones, who will be great friend to Harry (and her aunt is Amelia Bones, so very good to be frind with Susan).

Personally I think that Harry will end up in Slytherin House. He will desperately want to be near Severus Snape, see reason written above. But...he knows that Dark Lord is not dead, and lots of people wants Harry be dead. So you can play on that and choose another House for him.

I personally and strongly believe that best choice for Harry is Hufflepuff together with Neville Longbottom as his best friend.

this is pretty good so far, but i think you'll need to watch out for making harry or snape too perfect. remember, harry will still be better at certain types of magic than others and snape will never be able to tolerate fools.

I actually love how you protrayed Severus. He's calm, collected, sacastic and fair.

Well this is a nice story so far and I like how things are going with Harry (I see it being more of a toss-up between Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw while Hufflepuff is in last for his house). As for a suggestion Snape could make to Dumbledore is to have the teachers (or at least the Headmaster and Heads of Houses), sworn to use the information gained from casting the legacy spell on the students to help their development (who knows what abilities some people might show if that was done as well).

As for Harry I think he's going to be studying quite a bit, and his aunt Petunia might appreciate some of the things he does for her garden thanks to what his herbology book mentions. I wonder if Harry will realize the loophole about wandless magic not being caught by the Ministry (and this would count for parselmagic as well). Will Harry spend some time each week with madame Pomfrey because he is learning parselmagic and she is the school's medical professional (thereby knowing what Harry will need to study to help with learning to heal).

As for Snape making some more changes, this would probably be for second year it happens for the first one. What this one entails is getting Remus in as the Muggle Studies professor (since he actually has experience in the muggle world that's current, while the current one is behind the times to put it nicely and this helps Remus avoid the DADA's curse), while moving the Muggle Studies professor to History of Magic (since they wind up missing out on more of the Wizarding worlds history). The second which can be done in the first year involves both Sirius and Peter. For Peter since Snape knows where he is and his current disguise, can be caught at Snape's leisure. As for Sirius, what Snape can do is give him a visit or two in Azakaban and talk about Harry but also reach an understanding with each other that Harry's welfare is their primary concern.

If any pairings are going to happen for Harry my order of preference is: Fleur Delacour, Daphne Greengrass, Nymphadora Tonks, Susan Bones, Gabrielle Delacour, Padma Patil, female Blaise Zabini, OFC vampire/werewolf, and Aurora Sinistra.

Anyways keep up the good work and I hope to read more soon.

I can only repeat myself, I simply like this story. I wonder if, and when Harry will meet the Weasleys. When he is not just in Time as the Weasleys always are. Will he be Friends with Ron, as Harry is more studious. Which house will he be in?. Thats all something I really look forward to discover as you write on your Story. Please update soon.
