You describe Kuzon's grief perfectly; he must have thought that Aang was among the dead children. His anguish is almost palpable throughout the story.

Poor Kuzon. :( I'm glad you wrote this though. I've always wondered what he would have done after finding out about the Air temples being destroyed. Wonderful story!
