Cool story

(Reaching into the pocket of his coat, Vegeta withdrew an object slightly larger than a baseball and threw it onto her desk. It was a filthy rock.

"There!" he said, crossing his arms haughtily. "I won't be upstaged by some three-foot tall midget."

She didn't want to touch it but he appeared to be waiting for her to say or do something. "...uhm, thank you Vegeta. It-It's lovely.")

At some points, you portray Vegeta really well. But as a Dragon Ball Z fan/ follower/enthusiast, I think your take on Vegeta is lacking severely.

Your writing is great and you put a damn good story together, except for the fact that you dont grasp that Vegeta is not nearly weak enough to succumb so easily to half of the things you've put him through. (human narcotics, bullets, human capturing, yamcha, piccolo -from your previous story before this one-) it was inaccurate to say the least, if you watched the series you know this.

The saiyan illness was marginally believable in weakening him but it boarded on ridiculous after a while.

It's just kind of insulting to his general character. Especially the over exaggeration of his mental weakness.

In short, Vegeta is fucking powerful in canon beyond anything you portray in your story which is supposed to follow the timeline. I laughed mostly when you wrote those things, it was amusing, not sad.

You've fell short in depicting him correctly but ultimately its your fanfic so I suppose if I take it as a partial AU in the time line its expectable, one where Vegeta is obviously wet behind his ears and pissing pathetic in every way

Which he is not in canon.

But still, great story telling, you have a way with words.

This is not a flame but if its borderline flameiish...I dont actually care. People read it and so will I, so you know your doing something right.

Done is another great story. I felt so sorry for Vegeta, all the pain he had to endure but also their whole family. Nothing was easy, everything was a fight and a huge mess of complications. But they finally made it, thank you!
