Okay, okay, okay - so just seeing the 9/11 tag should have warned me to have some Kleenex handy. But, man, that was more than I expected.

I seriously thought Face was dead for most of the story! LOVED IT!

This was a very good and heart felt 9/11 story. You captured everyones feeling so well and what it was like for people that could of had loved one there.

I was thinking that when the guys were singing Face would either call or be there to finish the last line with Hannibal. I am so glad you didnbt kill him. I dont think any of them would be able to handlem it especially Hannibal. They have the father/son thing going on.

I love it Hannibal still caling face "kid" when he is not so much anymore. i so agree he will alway be "kid" to Hannibal.

*applause* Like the Murdocks, I don't tend to watch tv in the morning, so on 9/11 I had no clue that anything had happened until I went to work and realized that the entire world had changed... Excellent story! Shady

I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I figure most everyone does. I live in the same time zone as New York and it was surreal to be watching the television and seeing the second plane come in. This story had my heart in my throat the entire time. I was so worried that you were going to kill off Face. I am glad that you did not. I would have hated to see what that would have done to the others. Story was truly awesome and heartwrenching. It's going on my faves. Thanks for the great read and keep up the awesome work.

I'd read this before and decided to re-do. It's pretty good. Not a big Maggie fan but in the realm of things, this works quite well.

All I can say is "Wow." This is only the second 9/11 fic I've read aside from my own, but this is incredible. You captured the emotions so well... I can really picture the guys going through it that way. Thanks for sharing. :)

That was sooo sweet! This is one of the best 9-11 stories I've seen. So tuching. It gave me just about every emotion from Fear when I didn't know who was in the trade towers and if Face was going to make it, to Saddness when they broke out into "You are my Sunshine" to laughter when the kids were playing. "I'm not going to be Decker!" That was great! Groovy Job, and keep up the good work!
