Not bad; I got a mysterious tightness in my throat and some watering of my eyes. *emotion* This is a reasonably effective short story (of two chapters, but still short)-it drives home the message. Poignant message at that. (T_T)

I can see why Kris would eventually follow in Jill's footsteps and join forces with Charlie. Nice story.

I like the way that Jill trys to make amends to her baby sister. Also Kris as the young child trying to be older than she is is a great characterization. Great job MaryRose.

LOL...well that was sweet. A bit short, but then again, how many complexities could an 8yo have, right? LOL I liked it! I always wondered what they were like as little kids... Very cute :)
