Interesting start. Your writing is very descriptive, flowing, and polished. Have you set this after the end of the show, and made them break up again? If so, then where is Emma? If not, please provide some detail about what the other Friends are doing now, particularly if you're going to include Joey later.

Rachel is very kind and understanding to Ross, which leads me to think that their last breakup was amicable. Do you intend on them coming back together eventually? Or will Ross/Joey be the pairing? I will add your story to my C2 Friendslash community if that's okay.

This is an intriguing start, although I must point out: Ross and Rachel as room-mates is definitely AU, if she's not pregnant by him. And further why "room-mates *again*"? They never were. I was going to say, you might give us an idea of when in the series you imagine this to be taking place, but come to think of it, if Ross has taken Rachel in, it should be after Chandler has moved in with Monica - so, okay, some time in Season 6. If you want to refine it down, let us know.

It's a very minor point, but ... sherry, in the US? I have to question that; I *really* don't think they're very big on sherry over there, but ordinary wine, sure. Otherwise, it's fine. Good to see that Rachel's learning to cook!

Joey/Ross slash - I've never seen it done (though a reference in one very short piece), and am fascinated by the idea and how you will make it seem plausible.
