...I am shocked... am-no, screw it, words cannot describe the brilliance with which you have characterized anti-hero Saruman.

And while I'd love-truly, truly love- to read more about the White Wizard's war against the dark-and using the dark's own tactics, at that- I do have to say that for the benefit of all other readers, the Snape, sadly, is the main character, and you should probably explain what's going on over there and in the rescue party.

Thank you so very, very much for this story. It's the best I've read since I finished book three of The Wheel of Time.

And that is the highest praise I can offer.

You are forgiven, huh a good Saruman, this will make the story line VERY interesting, and may change the course of the Fellowship, no need for Moria since Saruman would be a good guy, and no need for Gandalf the White to free Théoden because Saruman never took him over, good job :)

This is awesome! :D I wish there were more good Severus-centric crossovers like this. I can't wait for more development of this story. I take it from the title, that he won't be getting a wand? That's going to be really frustrating for him. xD Maybe Gandalf will loan him a staff or something? Or he'll just try to develop his wandless magic? Hee.

His current abilities, I find pretty appropriate, as is his new familiars. The identity confusion is pretty hilarious. So is the image, in my head, of Severus crying out, "Fly my pretties! FLY!" And EEEUUUUUGH, I wanna know what's going on with Sev right now.

The rule of thumb is Three minutes without air, three hours without shelter (in inclement conditions), three days without water, and three weeks without food.

And Severus-the-doe's escape should have sounded all kinds of "High Deer" alarms; just as Aragorn is a High Man, and Shadowfax is a High Horse, clearly Severus-the-doe is a High Deer.

This is one of the best Lord of the Rings x Harry Potter Crossovers of all time. C: No joke.

How to start complimenting this story…? hum So many points to cover. How about a list of my favorite things about this fic? 1) It's well written. 2) The plot is novel. 3) The characterization of known characters is well-done 4) The OC's have come to life with their own personality 5) SNAPE 6) I want a Crebain 7) … everything else.

You may have trouble keeping Gandalf non-gay(saltoftheearth,gaypeople,alwayssaidso), but you write Saruman increasingly brilliantly. Saruman's Voice will heal, and he's learned to use a powerful new weapon. While his alliance with the Dark is over, he may become a dangerous Anti-Hero in his own right.

Well done characterizing the birdies. So many people forget about Tolkien thinking well of the intelligence of animals.

And I understand the difficulty with Gandalf. He always is used as "Generic Valient Wizard" or as "You can do it, we love & care about you". Difficult to use him as a real person the way Tolkien did.
