Qoheleth 12/31/10 . chapter 2Dear Nova: Well, since you asked, I can't help thinking that Hans Gruber seems just a shade too... how shall I say... poetical. If there was one impression I got from him in the movie, it was one of ruthless practicality. He might well have had a love interest; he might have wanted to shower her with riches; he might even have held up the building solely for that reason (though I doubt it) - but he wouldn't be poetical about it.
